    Range Rules

    1. Treat every gun as if it were loaded.

    2. Keep the muzzle pointing in a safe direction at all
    times.

    3. Do not load guns until you are ready to shoot at
    the station location.

    4. Keep the action open when not shooting.

    5. Unload your gun and clear the action/breech
    before the gun is placed in a gun rack or stored.

    6. All shooters must wear eye and ear protection.

    7. If a gun malfunctions, notify the range officer
    IMMEDIATELY. Keep the muzzle pointed in a safe
    direction until the problem has been corrected and
    the gun has been determined to be safe.

    8. Limit of 2 shells in the gun unless the range officer
    allows more shells to be loaded.

    9. Persons consuming alcoholic beverages will not be
    permitted to shoot or be on the firing line. Handling
    of firearms is discouraged after consumption of
    alcohol.

    10. Persons under the age of 18 or inexperienced
    shooters must be accompanied by a responsible
    person during the event.

    11. Persons under the age of 18 or inexperienced
    shooters, while shooting, must have a responsible
    person standing at the back of the station screen
    (coaching position).

    12. All guns shall be unloaded in the ready area.

    13. No shot size larger than 7 1/2 may be used.

    14. Keep all guns in a low position at all times.

    15. Separation of different gauge shells is
    recommended.
